Interesting and good structures, but at times redundant and contradicting.

I’m really glad I read this book, which taught me a lot about deep work and will and already has improved my work habits a lot! I enjoyed the structure of the book, giving interesting stories and trying to get a learning out of it. Although I also found it a bit redundant at times, parts were repeated and blown up for no reason sometimes even contradicting a former appearance. The author also contradicts the foundations of his main thesis in the final chapters, which does not completely destroy the concept, but does make properties and techniques of the deep work habit as he describes it obsolete. I would recommend the book to anybody who is thriving in any kind of environment (not just professionally, also for example in sports) anyway, as it lets you easily review your own schedule and productivity.
Great book

Worth the read. Read it, write down the advices and train your concentration muscle. Hard work, but it pays!
