Descorchados has been published annually without interruption since 1999. the earliest editions were dedicated to chilean wines alone, but later expanded to include the best wines from throughout south america. Today descorchados is the great reference to wines from this side of the world, a tremendous compendium that includes wines of all styles and prices from large, small, and even artisanal producers. “Our idea,” says descorchados author patricio tapia, “is to provide readers with the broadest perspective possible, a panoramic snapshot of today’s wines from the southern cone.”
