"For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen." Matthew 6:13b The Lord quite deliberately put 'the power' in the center because there is no point in a kingdom without power. It can neither be built nor maintained nor fulfilled in any way without the power of God. Nor can we ever know the glory of God covering the earth as the waters cover the sea unless we experience the power of God. It is God who , in the end, has to so wonderfully fulfilled His purpose that the glory of God can come. So in many ways, practically, this matter of power is pivotal; it is central to the whole matter. This is why we will consider this matter of power in the scripture.
