This story is about a brave, fast mongoose that confronts two snakes - Nag and his even more dangerous wife Nagaina. The snakes lurk around the garden of a family home. Rikki-tikki the mongoose is honored by the family living there for keeping the family and especially their son young Teddy safe from dangerous Nag and Nagaina.
