NATOM LEXIC English-Portuguese
This visual and bilingual anatomical dictionary is dedicated to healthcare professionals, students, scientific translators and all those seeking anatomical terminology and its translation. This collection of 160 charts is organized in anatomical regions (head-neck-thorax, thorax-abdomen-pelvis, upper member, lower member…) and layers (superficial skeletal muscles, organs, blood vessels, nerves…). The principle of the visual dictionary is to display an anatomical chart with legends in one language alongside the same chart in another language. The information in the charts can be accessed by a table of contents, by a summary table per region and anatomical layer and via a search tool which also enables users to access the definition of a term in the chart on the internet.

Este dicionário anatómico visual e bilingue é dedicado aos profissionais de saúde, estudantes, tradutores científicos e todos os que procuram a terminologia anatómica e sua tradução. Esta colecção de 160 gráficos está organizada por regiões anatómicas (cabeça-pescoço-tórax, tórax-abdómen-pélvis, membros superiores, membros inferiores, etc.) e camadas (músculos esquelético-superficiais, órgãos, vasos sanguíneos, nervos, etc.) O princípio do dicionário visual é a apresentação de um gráfico anatómico com legendas num idioma ao lado do mesmo gráfico noutro idioma. A informação dos gráficos pode ser acedida através de um índice, por uma tabela de resumo por região e camada anatómica e através de uma ferramenta de procura que permite igualmente que os usuários acedam à definição do termo no gráfico na internet.
