What connection does the first advent have to the second advent of Christ?
“Advent” is a word which means the beginning of an event or the arrival of a person. For Christians, the season of Advent is when believers prepare their hearts for the celebration of Jesus’ birth—the arrival of the Savior.
In the Bible, Jesus tells us that he will return a second time—and his second advent is one that believers are waiting for to this very day.
